Deutscher Werkbundtag 2009

2007 marks the historical date, from when on more people around the world live in cities than in rural or small town areas. Based on this fact, the Werkbundtag 2009 as well as the accompanying publication deals with questions about the future of living in cities. Derived from the logo of Deutscher Werkbund designed by Anton Stankowski the square becomes the central graphic element that the publications format and grid is based on, ranging even to the shape of the partial laquer finish used on the front cover.
