Green, Brown, Blue, Yellow – colors of a landscape, composed of woods, seas and agricultural soil. The colors of the new identity for SKLK (Saxonian Centre for Regional and Local Politics) refer to four characteristics of Saxonian landscape: farmland, water, meadows and open pit mining, which characterized the landscape for decades.

Just like a state is comprised of different municipalities the modular logotype itself is composed of various little elements, that only from a little distance shape the the letters SKLK. The logo, which is modular in its colors, can be altered endlessly this way, resulting in a homogeneous yet subtly varying corporate design.
