Parkas first sketches date back to my diploma in 2007 at the University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria. It has been the first step into designing type, and has benefitted a lot from the invaluable continuous feedback from type design masters Günter Gerhard Lange and Georg Salden. Its rather narrow design makes for a solid Sans Serif, that performs evenly throughout all weightsand styles, showing great strength in smaller sizes. However, with its sturdy forms and humanistic influences, Parka reveals its clear yet distinct design in headline sizes.
Among other uses, it is recommended for Magazine and Corporate use.
Parka is available as full-featured OpenType fonts with small caps, multiple figure styles, and other features from The Font Bureau.
